From the moment that we had the idea to release the session that we had recorded in Maputo aka the Otupam Sessions, it was with out a question that it should be followed up by a series of remixes.

The material in its self being rather limited, one microphone for the drum kit, another for the Kalimba, adding trumpet and synths each track was no less than 5 to 7 channels. Simplicity and limitation give birth to creative challenges and sounds that we were eager to find out what our talented friends would do with.

We are really honoured to have some amazing remixes by friends that are close to Mr Freddy, that have we have toured with, worked with in studio and collaborated with.

Nandele, Sydney, Kanif, Healer Oran, Questin…
